Government Secure Solutions CGI Inc. (GSSC) is a subsidiary company of CGI Federal, Inc. and CGI Group, having a worldwide presence with more than 70,000 personnel operating in over 40 countries. GSSC is a Delaware corporation that has mitigated our foreign ownership through a Defense Security Service (DSS) approved Proxy Agreement (PA).  That agreement calls for the appointment of directors who, in conjunction with other U.S. based board members, form a Government Security Committee. The Government Security Committee has the responsibility for overseeing the company’s compliance with U.S. Government Security and Export regulations.  With DSS compliance, GSSC operates as an independent US company.

Dave Ralston - President, Government Secure Solutions, CGI Inc.

Dave Ralston leads Government Secure Solutions CGI Inc., a wholly-owned separate entity, which manages a unique subset of contracts.

Prior to this role, Dave served as a senior executive in one of CGI Federal’s five business units, with P&L responsibility for more than $200M in revenue and 1,800 team members operating in seven countries. He oversaw the development of business growth plans for new U.S. Department of Defense markets and helped set long-range strategic direction for the unit.

Dave had a 32-year distinguished career in the U.S. Army retiring as a Major General before joining the private sector. Most recently, he served as the Commanding General of Fort Sill, Oklahoma. There, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of over 15,000 soldiers and Department of the Army civilians as well as management and execution of a $500M budget. He oversaw the strategic direction, readiness, training and organization of the United States Army Field Artillery forces worldwide.

Dave holds a Harvard Fellowship in National Security, Master of Arts Degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Weber State University.

May 13, 2016 - Retired Major General David C. Ralston (GSSC President) was inducted into the Army’s 2016 Force Management Hall of Fame. The award ceremony was conducted in the Pentagon on May 12, 2016

June 1, 2016 - Government Secure Solutions CGI Inc. is part of a team that was recently selected to provide mission support services of USCYBERCOM and CMF. These disciplines will include C4, Intelligence, and cyber Mission support areas, and elements of the DODIN and Joint Information Environment (JIE) in support of the United States Cyber Command mission. This effort was awarded through a $460M multiple-award ID/IQ contract from the General Services Administration (GSA)/Federal System Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM). Work will be performed primarily in the greater Washington, DC, metro area. Congratulations to Ralph Martins for his support of this effort!

June 29, 2016 - Department of Defense presented Fort Sill, Oklahoma the 2016 Pete Taylor Partnership of Excellence Award for outstanding community partnership. Congratulations to David Ralston who serves as the Governor’s Commissioner to Fort Sill and was one of the recipients of the award. The award ceremony took place at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. on June 28, 2016.
